Norfolk, VA: The Socialist Campaign in the 2024 US Elections

The 2024 US elections take place under conditions of the deepening genocide in Gaza, the expanding US-NATO war against Russia in Ukraine, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the worsening climate crisis, and the growing threat of fascistic dictatorship in the US and internationally. Capitalism is plunging humanity into barbarism.

Both major capitalist parties in the US, the Democrats and Republicans, prosecute imperialist war abroad and unrelenting attacks on the working class at home. The Democrats declared “all-out war” against third party candidates and seek to stifle all left-wing opposition to their reactionary policies.

The Socialist Equality Party (US) and its candidates, Joseph Kishore and Jerry White, are giving voice to the interests of the international working class and advancing a socialist program to put an end to imperialist war, defend democratic rights, expand funding for education and public health, and establish a socialist society based on social equality and economic planning.

About the Speaker

Jerry White is the Socialist Equality Party (US) vice presidential candidate in the 2024 US elections. He is the Labor Editor of the World Socialist Web Site and has been a member of the Trotskyist movement since 1979. As a revolutionary journalist, Jerry has covered and intervened in countless struggles of the working class.
